MORNING
Visit to the Winery and Museum
We will start the day with a visit to the emblematic and historic Cálem Winery where, in addition to a guided tour of the winery’s facilities, we will be able to learn first-hand about the history, varieties, and production process of the famous Port wines, which have been produced in this winery for over 150 years.
During the tour of the facilities and interactive museum, we will have the opportunity to taste a variety of cheeses and chocolates paired with 3 excellent Port wines to complete the experience.
MIDDAY
Lunch in Porto
After the interesting visit to the wine cellar and museum, we will head to the heart of Porto for lunch at the refined Le Monument restaurant, where we can have a peaceful lunch in one of its well-kept private rooms.
In this restaurant, awarded with a Michelin star for its innovative gastronomy, we can taste different local products and typical dishes from various regions of Portugal adapted to modern cuisine to offer us an explosion of flavors and textures.
AFTERNOON
City tour and free time
The magnificent city of Porto awaits us. We will be guided, by a local expert, through the narrow streets, monuments, and churches that fill with life in the center of Porto. We will learn about the interesting history of the city and discover the secrets hidden in its cobbled streets.
The picturesque neighborhood of Cais da Ribeira, the imposing Sé de Porto Cathedral, the iconic Clérigos Tower and Church, the building of the Stock Exchange Palace, with its beautiful Arab hall, or the well-known Lello e Irmao Bookshop (popular for having been named one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world) are just some of the must-see places to visit in the city of Porto.
