Program of the day

MORNING
Departure from Cambados
Today we face the last day of our journey, and we say goodbye to the Rías Baixas to turn our gaze towards the longed-for goal of all pilgrims who undertake the oldest pilgrimage in the world: the spectacular Santiago de Compostela. We will go to Milladoiro to walk the last 7.5 kilometers to the capital of Galicia like true pilgrims.
With a simple and predominantly urban route, this short stage will allow us to soak up the pilgrim atmosphere at its best, reaching the majestic Plaza do Obradoiro where we will admire the extreme beauty of the façade of the Cathedral of Santiago.

MIDDAY
Lunch at a Bib Gourmand Restaurant
At the end of our route, we will go to Restaurant A Horta do Obradoiro, recognized with the Bib Gourmand award thanks to its market cuisine and authentic flavors. It is a rustic restaurant where simplicity mixes with extraordinary flavors and a product of the highest quality that gives rise to exquisite dishes steeped in tradition.
The restaurant is characterized by its intimate, cozy, and familiar atmosphere. It has a large table on a beautiful covered patio, ideal for groups and gardens to enjoy a meal outdoors if the weather allows.

AFTERNOON
Guided tour of the historic centre of Santiago
The historic centre of Santiago de Compostela, which unfolds around the imposing Cathedral, is an incomparable monumental, spiritual and cultural spectacle, recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO on 4 December 1985.
With a local guide we will walk through the narrow streets, squares and various monuments and discover all the ins and outs of the history of this historic city.

NIGHT
Rest
We will have the opportunity to continue to wander the cobbled streets of the centre of Santiago for dinner at a restaurant of our choice. We will then head to the heart of Santiago, the Plaza do Obradoiro, one of the most visited squares in the world, to stay at what is considered to be the oldest hotel in Spain, the Parador de Santiago de Compostela, also known as the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos.
This nowadays elegant hotel started out as a hospital for pilgrims arriving in Santiago after long periods of walking. This magnificent building, which has witnessed centuries of history, will be the last place we spend the night on our journey. It offers all the comforts and luxuries we could need to end this adventure in the best possible way.
